POV Training

You don’t train knowledge here.
You train the decision.

Train the decision.
You're about to make your first decision
The problem

Knowledge alone doesn't save lives.

Theory is the baseline. But get the call wrong under pressure and you risk the exact thing you trained for. The real exercise happens once a year. In between, nobody trains the decision.

The solution

You decide, you see the consequence, you do it again.

First personReal pressureCritical decisions
Video teaser · Notfall Lawine · Placeholder

A real operational scenario in the first person. A decision at every critical point, with a visible consequence and feedback from the expert who built the scenario. As many times as it takes, until the decision sticks.

Open Response · Free-form answer

Type it. Say it. Guessing doesn't count.

Not every situation is multiple choice. At open decision points, you write your own answer, and the training compares it to the one from the expert who built the scenario.

Find a landing site away from the casualty, secure loose gear, and signal with the Y hand signal. Approach only after the crew signals you.

Proven

Proven in real operations.

Proven in avalanche training with schneeWISE, decisions assessed by state-certified mountain guides. Avalanche transceiver maker Nivia uses the format for device training. Notfall Lawine is a fixed part of the German Alpine Club's instructor training. In the pilot project, the ÖNK assesses medical decisions. Land Tirol is an ongoing partner through the snow.institute.

The adrenaline is real. The emergency, thankfully, isn't. The ROI all the more.

€20,000 sounds like a lot for something digital? Don't compare it to an e-learning module. Compare it to a single large exercise: one day, heavy logistics, then gone. The POV training costs once and runs for years, for everyone.

Who's behind it

From the snow into every emergency.

POV Training grew out of schneeWISE, first-person avalanche training. Same format, now for rescue, critical infrastructure and defence. 10+ years in e-learning, all from one hand: storyboard, filming, development.

Frequently asked questions

What decision-makers ask first.

Who is POV Training for?

For organisations where a wrong call gets expensive: rescue, critical infrastructure, hospitals, defence. And for everyone in them who has to function under pressure and decide right.

Does this replace our training?

No. POV Training is the logical extension, not a replacement. Theory and expertise stay the baseline. We make that knowledge available under pressure.

Why not the cheaper e-learning agency?

They ship a different product: click-through and quizzes. POV Training has your people run the emergency, decide wrong, see the consequence, try again.

How custom is this?

Fully. Every training is built on your concrete scenarios, decision points and procedures. No off-the-shelf product.

How does the process work?

From an expert workshop through script and filming to the finished training, all from one hand. In 12 weeks you have a fully customised POV training that runs internally right away.

What platform does this run on?

Exported as SCORM or HTML5, compatible with common learning platforms. On request we also build a dedicated platform or app.

How long does a training take?

Core runs about 30 minutes. Scope and number of scenarios are freely configurable in Extended.

What does POV Training cost?

Core from €20,000 once, Extended on request. Rather start than buy? As TaaS: lower entry costs, the rest spread predictably over the term, and the training is yours at the end. We'll go through the rate and term on the call.

How is the concept validated?

Born with schneeWISE, in use with state-certified mountain guides and Land Tirol through snow.institute. Nivia uses the format for device training, and Notfall Lawine is a fixed part of the German Alpine Club's instructor training. In 2026, the ÖNK assesses medical decisions in the pilot project.

Does this work in multiple languages?

Yes. One scenario, many languages, tuned to your audiences in the Extended package.

How do we get started?

With a demo call. You experience POV Training live, talk through your concrete scenario and get a first assessment. No strings, to the point.

Experience the emergency, before it's real.
